Notes: Strong grasses dominate the early nose. A sweet grain character, subtle sweet caramel, and drying tobacco also join. There is even sweet cooked fruit, perhaps banana, with cinnamon, but it is very, very subtle. The 1st impression of the taste reinforces the cinnamon/banana from the late nose before shifting to showcase sweet oak, and dark chocolate late. The second sip featured an increased presence of sweetness, oak, and a darker dark chocolate. This finish carries on with the tandem of sweet oak and cinnamon for a long rewarding finish. Amazingly unique batch.
