Kentucky Peerless Distilling Co. Awarded Double Platinum in 2025 Ascot Awards

Kentucky Peerless Distilling Co. has garnered an impressive medal collection in the 2025 ASCOT Awards. Their awards include a Double Platinum medal in the Straight Bourbon category, a Double Platinum medal in the Rye category, and a Platinum medal in the American Rye Whiskey Category, amongst other acknowledgments.

ASCOT Awards is an international spirits competition created by spirits personality and veteran tasting judge, Fred Minnick. This year saw an increase in entries, with an exciting mix of industry staples and rising stars. Combine that with the most respected Council of Tasters in the world.

The top-scoring entries from each class move on to the highly anticipated championship round, where they’re judged by Fred Minnick and a panel of expert tasters specific to each category. During this final round, samples are tasted, discussed, and ultimately, champions are crowned.

These medals are in good company, as Kentucky Peerless has been racking up notable accolades in recent months.  Their Toasted Bourbon was awarded an impressive 98 points, and their High Rye Bourbon was awarded 95 points in the IWSC, where they took home the ‘World’s Best Bourbon’ title. They also took home Double Platinum in the 2024 Ascot Awards and Double Gold in the 2024 Sip Awards. Kentucky Peerless Owner and CEO, Corky Taylor, was inducted into the Bourbon Hall of Fame in September. They were also named in USA Today’s 10Best Awards’ Best Craft Whiskey and Best Craft Distillery Tour.
