The nose starts with a warm breath of sea salt caramel. Shortly following is cherry pipe tobacco. As the nose continues, floral characters begin to come in, creating a great complexity. The taste starts with a sweet and spicy wave, anchored by sweet oak and cinnamon. A crisp fresh character forms following the wave. A second sip reveals a sweetened orange zest and spice just preceding the wave. The finish takes the crisp character and shifts it back towards a combination of sweet oak and dark chocolate. Following an extended encore, the mouth is left with hints of caramel and dots of fruit character. An amazing batch to rep Peerless.
