The nose is warm and fruit driven, giving it almost a cobbler quality. Sweet oak and rye also gives it a dark earthy sweetness. The taste starts with a sweet, cinnamon spiced cream. It then rolls into a spice wave and features a sweet cherry character late. The finish carries the oak and grain character forward and later returns to the cinnamon spiced sweet cream that was so nice early in the taste. A wonderful barrel that displays each of the flavor pillars.
