NOSE
A rich, burnt barbecue character leaps out of the glass. Sweet tobacco smoke also joins the nose.
PALATE
The first sip is brown sugar, savory smoke, and toasted cedar. An orange reduction character arises from the combination of a citric tartness coupled with caramelized sugars. Malted sugar and a lingering caramel-chocolate chew continue to add elements to the palate, becoming darker and sweeter as it goes.
FINISH
The finish is marked by a quick shift from the dark caramel to a crisp malted sugar, freshened with aromas of expressed lemons.
